Varsity Earns a Win in Home Opener!

On Saturday October 1 the Lexington Thoroughbreds Varsity team evened their record at 1-1 on the season with a 5-1 win against the Cincinnati Swords Varsity Prep team.

The game was played in front of a raucous home crowd which included former players Aiden Lynn, Noah Childers, Camden Eubank, and Caiden Gillium.

Josh Henry earned the victory in goal by stopping 26 of 27 shots for a .962 save percentage.

Goal scorers for Lexington were Luca Wilkinson, Zachary Cuccinelli, Elijah Young, and Will McKale (2 goals).

Cuccinelli, Cody Coulter, and Luke McKale had assists.

A special congratulations to coach Joel Cormier on his first victory. Congratulations coach!

After the game the team had a team tailgate outside LIC. Thanks to Lisa Coulter for organizing the event.

The team is off this coming weekend before hosting PHA Prowlers on Saturday October 15 at 10:45 and 1:45.
