Total Package Hockey Is offering an expanded series of clinics this fall to help your player prepare for the upcoming season. All clinics are being offered at the Lexington Ice Center. For more information, or to register, click on the links below.
Knock the Rust off Clinic: Whether you've been on the ice during the summer or just getting back to the rink, this will be a great clinic to "knock the rust off" and get ready for the upcoming season.
Fall Skills Clinic: This program will have a concentrated focus on individual skills including skating, passing, stick handling and shooting. Your player will be exposed to curriculum that will cover all the key skills in the game, with high repetitions to emphasize key teaching points. Circuit training will be used to allow instructors to work with individual students. Groups divided up on ice based on skill.
Fall 3 on 3/4 on 4: Throughout our 5-week 3v3/4v4 league players will have the opportunity to focus on underrated attributes such as puck possession and body positioning around the net through competitive games that will teach you how to get the puck and keep it.
Power Skating: This program is designed for hockey players who wish to improve their skating technique in order to maximize the power and speed in each skating stride creating a more efficient hockey player. The main focus of this program will be on skating fundamentals. Circuit training will be used to allow instructors to work with individual students. The program will cover forward and backward skating, stopping, quick starts, technical skills such as, tight turns, bracket turns, pivoting, lateral movements, forward and backward cross-overs as well as balance and agility.
Skills and Small Area Games: This program will have a concentrated focus on individual skills including skating, passing, stick handling and shooting. Your player will be exposed to curriculum that will cover all the key skills in the game, with high repetitions to emphasize key teaching points. Small area games will also be used and are a great way for your player to have fun while improving their all-around skills.
Checking Clinic: Recommended for birthyear 2011-2004 players to build confidence for body play and positioning. Please note that birth years 2011 and 2010 will work on body contact and angling.
