First ever CKHA ALL Girls Games!

CKHA girls hosted their inaugural games this Sunday as the Louisville Ice Cards girls came to town. Avery May scored the first ever CKHA girls goal off an assist from GG Gerken to give Lexington an early lead. Lexington never looked back as Quinn Scott added 2 more and a defensive team of Leela Ghent, Rhonin Meacham and Sage Aguirre never gave the Cards a chance to get on the board. Lexington finished strong with a 3-0 win.

The second game saw the Ice Cards battle back and get up to an early 2-0 lead. In the second period Quinn Scott picked up where she left off going coast to coast to get Lexington on the board. Solid play from Annie Tovar, FJ McLaughlin and Audrey Wheale kept Louisville pinned in their zone and it was all Lexington from there. Quinn Scott refused go down without a battle and finished her natural hat trick in the 3rd period to give Lexington the lead. GG Gerken would cap off the scoring for Lexington to finished with a 4-2 win.
