CKHA Welcome Back Club Tournament
This isn't your average 3-on-3 day. On Sunday, August 30, we're running a Club Tournament that links our younger and older players together on the same side — because at this rink, an 8U win counts just as much as a high school win.
How It Works
Players will be split into two groups, with 4 teams of 6–8 players in each group playing 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 cross-ice games:
- Group 1: 10U/8U (birth years 2016–2018)
- Group 2: 12U/14U/High School
Each Group 1 team is paired with a Group 2 team of the same color to form a Club. Your club's younger and older teams earn points together, and the club with the most combined points at the end of the day is crowned champion — so the big kids better be cheering on the little kids, and vice versa!
Scoring
- Win = 2 points for your club
- Draw = 1 point for your club
Every game in both groups counts toward the club standings. Players on the winning club — both age groups — take home a medal.
Schedule
- 12:45–1:45 PM — Group 1
- 2:00–3:00 PM — Group 2
- 3:15–4:15 PM — Group 1
- 4:30–5:30 PM — Group 2
Stick around between your games — your club's points are on the line all afternoon!
Pricing
- Players: $79
- Goalies: $15 (limit 4 goalies per group)
Team Formation
Teams will be formed after registration closes. Players may be moved up or down between groups to keep games competitive, and teammate requests are welcome — but teams may be adjusted to create the best competitive balance possible.

Registration closes August 28 so we have time to build balanced clubs and teams. Goalie spots are limited, so don't wait!
