Introducing the Little Breds – Learn to Play Hockey with Your Own Gear!
A 6-week Learn to Play program where kids not only get on the ice, but also receive a full set of hockey equipment to keep — skates, helmet, pads, stick, and bag.

Program Overview
Start Date: January 6, 2026
Duration: 6 weeks (Tuesday eveningss)
Location: Lexington Ice Center
Time: 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm

- Little Breds Full-Gear Program: $315 (includes equipment + 6 on-ice sessions)

Equipment Fitting
Players will attend a Fitting Day in late October.
Dates & Times: October 28, 29 & 30 from 6pm - 8pm each night.
Volunteers will help size gear to ensure the perfect fit.
A Google Form + QR Code will be available at the fitting to collect size information.
Skate sizing will follow Pure Hockey guidelines.
FAQ
Do I have to sign up for Little Breds?
No. You can still register for a single Learn to Play session ($175 + optional $40 rental gear).
What if I already rented gear?
If you upgrade into the Little Breds program, you’ll receive a $40 discount code if registered for Session 2.
What’s included in the $315 fee?
- 6 ice sessions (Learn to Play)
- Full set of hockey equipment to keep (skates, helmet, stick, bag, pads, etc.)
How is equipment sized?
You’ll complete a sizing form at our fitting day, and we’ll confirm everything at our Player Fitting Day.
Is there a limit?
Yes. 45 players max – first come, first served.
What’s the benefit of Little Breds vs. rentals?
Owning your own gear makes it easier to continue in hockey. Kids are proud to skate in equipment that’s theirs, and families save on rental fees for future seasons.
