Try Hockey for Free – September 13th at Lexington Ice Center!

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to lace up a pair of skates, grab a stick, and glide across the ice? Now’s your chance!

The Central Kentucky Hockey Association is thrilled to host a Try Hockey for Free (THFF) event on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lexington Ice Center (560 Eureka Springs Dr, Lexington, KY 40517).

This event is a perfect opportunity for kids to experience the excitement of hockey for the very first time—no prior skating or hockey experience is required. Coaches and volunteers will be on hand to help new players learn the basics in a fun, supportive environment. All necessary equipment will be provided, so just bring your energy and enthusiasm!

Hockey is more than just a sport—it’s about teamwork, friendships, and unforgettable experiences both on and off the ice. Whether your child is looking for a new activity or has always been curious about hockey, this free event is the perfect place to start.
